Follow-up Review of the Hanford Site Chronic Beryllium Disease Prevention Program

This report provides the results of a follow-up independent oversight review of the Hanford Site Chronic Beryllium Disease Prevention Program.  The review was performed April 18-21, 2011, by the U.S. Department of Energy's (DOE) Office of Safety and Emergency Management Evaluations, which is within the DOE Office of Health, Safety and Security (HSS), at the request of DOE's Richland Operations Office (RL) and Office of River Protection (ORP).  The purpose of the review was to provide RL, ORP, and site contractor management with a mid-point assessment of corrective actions taken in response to the 2010 HSS inspection of the program and provide site management with recommendations for further improving the program.
