How will we achieve our vision?
Through the innovative use of technology, we will create a learning community that promotes learning across the DOE enterprise. Through enabling technology, we will establish and grow a virtual learning community that mitigates geographic and organizational boundaries, where communication and learning can be facilitated by technology in real time, and learners can engage in collaborative, experiential learning via formal or informal groups.
The College of Learning and Workforce Deveopment's (CLWD) mission is to provide DOE employees with the necessary learning & development information in the areas of acquisition, financial management, project management, leadership, and career development. The CLWD is owned by the Office of Learning and Workforce Development. This is accomplished through an integrated learning environment that utilizes a state-of-the-art educational platform to achieve the mission and goals of the U.S. Department of Energy.
