What is Continual Learning?

The purpose of Continual Learning is to improve the professional development of the federal workforce within the Department of Energy. In an effort to support this initiative, HC-20 offers 4 instructional workshops to assist employees and supervisors with employee development. These workshops are full of helpful tips and tricks for identifying low cost/no cost training, creating a high-quality IDP and assist supervisors with their responsibilities with employee development. The workshops will be offered either via adobe connect or classroom. Employees and supervisor are encouraged to attend these workshops and let us (HC-20) help you as we promote a learning culture.

-Keep Learning Even with Tight Budgets - Learn how to create learning strategies for development with limited or no training budgets.

-Let's Work on Your IDP - Helpful hints for developing a high-quality IDP.

-Employee Development for Supervisors - Learn to assist with effective employee development and conduct employee development conversations.

-How to Create an IDP in ESS - Learn how to create and modify an Individual Development Plan (IDP) through Employee Self Service (ESS)

These workshops will help you with your professional or personal goals as you complete your individual development.
