Revitalizing the Knowledge Capture & Transfer Program (KCTP)

March 4, 2014 - 12:15pm

HC-20 is in the process of revitalizing the KCTP.  The KCTP is the DOE's program to address the potential of losing key knowledge which could seriously impact mission-critical operations.  The last thing we want to happen is for those subject matter experts and leaders to leave the department without having the opportunity to share the key knowledge that has led to organizational success.  The KCTP provides a corporate strategy to capture and share knowledge throughout the department.

We will first start our efforts with programs such as Leaders as Teachers, Communities of Practice, and the University & Business Partnership Program which have been inactive for several months.  Within the next few months, we will reach out to subject matter experts and leaders, who have been identified as adjunct faculty or attended National Defense University (NDU) as part our our partnership with them.  In addition, we will also solicit individuals who are interested in becoming adjunct faculty as a part of the Leaders as Teachers Program.

Please keep an eye out for regular updates on our progress.  If you would like more information regarding the KCTP, please contact Deadra Welcome.
