Fisher & Paykel Appliances: ENERGY STAR Referral (WA42T26GW1)

DOE referred the matter of Fisher & Paykel Appliances residential clothes washer, model WA42T26GW1, to the EPA for appropriate action after DOE testing showed that the model does not meet the ENERGY STAR specification.

Big Ass Fans is headquartered in Lexington, Kentucky, and designs and manufactures a variety of fan models for commercial, industrial and residential use.  BAF met with DOE to discuss the ongoing rulemaking process for the commercial and industrial fans and blowers energy conservation standards, docket EERE-2013-BT-STD-0006, and for residential ceiling fans energy conservation standards, docket number EERE-2012-BT-STD-0045.

DOE ordered Neptun Light, Inc. to pay a $13,000 civil penalty after finding Neptun Light had failed to certify that certain models of medium base compact fluorescent lamps comply with the applicable energy conservation standards.

DOE ordered Lutron Electronics Co., Inc. to pay a $13,000 civil penalty after finding Lutron Electronics had manufactured and distributed in commerce in the U.S. at least 79,000 units of various basic models, noncompliant Class A external power supplies.
