On Wednesday July 18, 2012, three energy efficiency advocates met with representatives of the Department of Energy to discuss the Notice of Proposed Rulemaking for Energy Conservation Standards for Distribution Transformers, Docket No. EERE-2010-BT-STD-0048, 77 Fed. Reg. 7282 (February 10, 2012).

and UL-WD145-D of freezers do not comport with the energy conservation standards.
