Gary “Litefoot” Davis (Cherokee Nation) is Executive Director of the Native American Financial Services Association, Founder and Publisher of Native Business Magazine, CEO of Davis Strategy Group and a member of the Forbes Finance Council.

He previously served as the President and CEO of the National Center for American Indian Enterprise Development, Vice-President of Native Affairs for the Triple Five Group (owners of the Mall of America) and co-chair of the National Indian Gaming Association’s, American Indian Business Network.

Through Davis Strategy Group he’s facilitated an array of cross sector business opportunities in Indian Country and provided clients with design, branding, marketing and media services.

Gary’s company, Native Business, promotes and advances Native American entrepreneurship and economic development. It produces and distributes daily content across an array of digital platforms and presents the annual Native Business Summit.

Mr. Davis is an internationally recognized musician and feature film and television actor with eight award winning albums and starring roles in such films as, The Indian in The Cupboard (Paramount Pictures) and television programs such as, House of Cards (Netflix).

Philanthropically, he raised nearly $1.5 million for the “Reach the Rez Project” and served as its spokesperson which brought hope and empowerment to over 450 American Indian communities nationwide.

He’s a recipient of the prestigious Sevenstar Award from the Cherokee Nation Historical Society, received the Department of Commerce Minority Business Development Agency National Director Special Recognition Award, appointed an Ambassador of the Department of Energy’s, Minorities in Energy initiative in 2015 and he was appointed to the United States Small Business Administration’s Council on Underserved Communities in 2016. 

Mr. Davis was recognized by Scholastic Books in their publication “Native American Heroes” (2020) and he regularly provides keynotes and business trainings for corporations, tribes, colleges and universities across North America.
