Steve Dunwoody - Former Special Assistant to the Deputy Secretary of Energy

Steve Dunwoody was a Special Assistant to the Deputy Secretary of Energy. Before coming to the Energy Department, Steve served as a member of the National Security Council staff (or NSS) at the White House and as a Special Assistant in the Office of the Secretary at the Pentagon. During the Obama for America campaign, Steve worked as a Veterans Outreach Director and Field Organizer in several states. Steve is a Veteran of Operation Iraqi Freedom III, having served at Camp Taji, Iraq, in 2005 as a member of the Air National Guard. He is a graduate of Kent State University and has studied at the Johns Hopkins University, School of Advanced International Studies.
