A remote user can create specially crafted HTML that, when loaded by the target user, will trigger a buffer overflow in the 'qp2.cab' ActiveX control and execute arbitrary code on the target system. The code will run with the privileges of the target user. The CLSID of the vulnerable control is: 05D96F71-87C6-11d3-9BE4-00902742D6E0

A remote user can create a file that, when loaded by the target user, will execute arbitrary code on the target user's system.
Solution:
The vendor has issued a fix (Lotus Quickr for Domino Hot Fix 8.2.0.27-002a).
