ABSTRACT:

Two vulnerabilities were reported in EMC Documentum Information Rights Management Server. A remote authenticated user can cause denial of service conditions.

Discussion:

A remote authenticated user can send specially crafted data to trigger a NULL pointer dereference and cause the target service to crash. A remote authenticated user can send specially crafted data to cause repetitive "batch begin untethered" calls that will make the server become unavailable.

Impact:

A remote authenticated user can cause the target service to crash or become unavailable.

Solution:

The vendor has issued a fix (IRM Server 4.7.0100, 5.0.1030).
