Tom Park served as the Director, Office of Finance and Accounting in the Department of Energy’s Office of the Chief Financial Officer.  He was a member of the Senior Executive Service leading and managing the finance and accounting staffs responsible for DOE’s accounting policy, internal review, audit resolution, financial management and accounting operations.  He led the accounting and finance staff through the development of the Agency Financial Report and the annual Financial Statement Audit.

From 2008 to 2015 Tom worked for CSC and SRA International implementing and operating accounting systems in federal agencies. His work included the migration of The Securities and Exchange Commission’s accounting system to the Oracle Federal Financial System and upgrading Center for Medicare Services to the R-12 version of Oracle Federal Financial System. 

Prior to 2008, Tom served as the Deputy CFO for the Department of Transportation where he led the implementation of a Department-wide accounting system.  He also served as the CFO of the Federal Highway Administration where he was responsible for the budget formulation, execution, financial management and accounting for the $65B highway trust fund.

Tom began his federal service with the U. S Marine Corps in 1968.  He graduated from Virginia Commonwealth University with a B.S. in Business Administration in 1975, when he joined the Federal Highway Administration as a financial management intern.
