Miss the Clean Cities Google+ Hangout? Watch a recording of it above.
This year marks a milestone for the Energy Department’s Clean Cities program -- 20 years of working with communities to cut our petroleum use in transportation. Through nearly 100 community-based coalitions, Clean Cities has advanced the deployment of alternative fuels, fuel economy improvements and new vehicle technologies across the country.
To celebrate the work of local Clean Cities coalitions, we hosted a Google+ Hangout with a few of the coalitions to discuss their achievements, the challenges they’ve faced and what the future holds for alternative fuels in their communities. We also answered some of your questions about alternative fuel vehicles. If you missed the Hangout, you can watch an archive of the conversation above.
