Secretary Chu and Chicago Mayor Rahm Emanuel to Make Energy Efficiency Announcement

CHICAGO – U.S. Energy Secretary Steven Chu will join Chicago Mayor Rahm Emanuel to make a major announcement about the City of Chicago’s commitment to energy efficiency as part of the Obama Administration’s all-of-the-above approach to American energy.

Energy use in buildings accounts for more than 40 percent of U.S. energy use.  By improving the energy efficiency of America’s buildings, we can help families and businesses save money by saving energy.
