Just a quick reminder that the deadline for submitting your home energy efficiency questions directly to Secretary Chu is midnight tonight (10/07). We’ve already received some great queries and personal experiences but want to make sure the Secretary has a chance to respond to as many of you as possible, so if you haven’t done so already submit your questions via e-mail, Twitter, YouTube or the Secretary’s personal Facebook page soon.

The Secretary will personally respond to some of the questions next week. In the meantime to learn more about what you can do to save money and conserve energy check out the Home Energy Saver from Lawrence Berkeley National Lab, a free online tool that makes specific recommendations for energy-saving upgrades you can make based on criteria such as ZIP code, house size, type of insulation and number of occupants.
