Tonight at 9 p.m. ET, President Obama will deliver his fifth State of the Union address, laying out his vision for the upcoming year. Here at Energy.gov, we’ll be covering the president’s speech, livetweeting all the major energy points.

You can join the conversation and share your thoughts with us by tweeting @Energy using #SOTU, leaving a comment on our Facebook and Google+ pages, or sending an email to newmedia@hq.doe.gov. For an enhanced version of the address -- including exclusive graphics, data and charts that explain the policies and issues laid out in the speech -- watch the State of the Union live on WhiteHouse.gov/SOTU. New to this year’s enhanced broadcast is a live social media feature, making it easier to share the graphics and charts on Twitter in real time during the speech.

Immediately following the State of the Union, stay tuned to for a live discussion about the president’s proposals during the White House’s third “Open for Questions” event. White House senior advisors will be on hand to answer your questions, which you can submit on Twitter, Vine, Instagram, Google+ and Facebook using #SOTUChat.
