WASHINGTON - U.S. Energy Secretary Steven Chu will travel to Ohio on Thursday and Friday to visit Cincinnati and Massillon. On Thursday, Secretary Chu will be joined by Congressman Steve Driehaus at the Cincinnati State Technical and Community College to learn about the school's workforce training efforts in renewable energy, energy audit, and sustainable building, and participate in a demonstration of a home energy audit.
On Friday, Secretary Chu will travel to Massillon where he will tour Shearer's Food, the first LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) Platinum Food Manufacturing Plant, with Congressman John Boccieri.
