Energy Secretary Chu to Tour DuPont Clean Energy Innovation Facilities

WASHINGTON – Tomorrow, Wednesday, May 23, 2012, U.S. Energy Secretary Steven Chu will visit DuPont in Wilmington, Delaware, where he will tour the company’s clean energy research and development facilities, including innovative work on advanced biofuels. Secretary Chu will highlight how companies like DuPont are helping the United States lead the global race for clean energy technologies and reduce our dependence on foreign oil.

Following the tour, Secretary Chu will participate in a media availability with DuPont’s Chief Innovation Officer Tom Connelly and Chief Science & Technology Officer Doug Muzyka.
